Shots-n-Stuff

I got my shots last week. The good news is that I had to get less of them than I thought (tetanus, typhoid, hep. A, polio and one other one that I've already forgotten the name of), but the bad news is that they were much more expensive than I thought they would be. I got a prescription to ward off malaria and traveler's flu (don't ask), was warned about the ill affects of jet-lag, and advised to get traveler's insurance, not to feed wild animals (I didn't get a rabies shot) and to wear sun block with 20% deet in it at all times, even while sleeping.

I thought I'd start to get excited at this point, but now I'm even more nervous.

I decided not to bring my blanky (don't judge) to Nepal, but I'm changing my mind. Justin did make it clear that he would not be flying to Nepal to track it down if I forget to pack it when I leave (like I did when we left the W Hotel in Seattle and he spent a few days tracking it down with housekeeping).

On that note, I'm off to bed.
